God bless you! It's great to learn about wild edibles.
God made our world to be enjoyed.

I made a delightful summer salad with tomatoes, onions, cattail shoots, dressing (veg oil, white vinegar, lemon juice, s & p) on a bed of purslane....YUM!!! (see my blog "Small Purse, Big Garden")

Can you give us an idea what to cook with this herb (can you eat it raw)? We have got a variety called sea purslane, not sure if it's te same as yours..

Hm, I've never heard of it before.. but we do have a lot of weeds, maybe we have some- then again, with this drought, it might have already died :(

It can be eaten raw. (We eat mostly raw foods). I also put it in gazpacho. Sea purslane is a different plant, but also edible.
