7:00 am - 8:00 am (two episodes) every Saturday morning from 1985 - 1987, until they replaced it with... wait for it... fucking Tiger Sharks and Karate Kat... really??? I didn't watch Saturday morning cartoons again until they started showing Dragon Warrior in 1989. What sweet memories my childhoold held.

Sounds like Zor is getting off to his memories of Dana. Speaking about that, we haven't had a shower scene in a while, have we?

@sango213 I think that Super Dimensional Calvary Southern Cross uses the Zor (the actual name of the alien race in the original Japanese version) as an alegory for Japanese society. Like the Japanese, the aliens make sure their society is run by strict order and team work, rather than by individuality and personal freedom.
However, some aliens, like some Japanese, strive for more personal expression. This show and Macross are deep shows because the aliens aren't really evil.

@demoskunk but, exposure to a individual behavior and freedom, would overcome the society-based suppression if in a large enough degree... as with the Zentradi
This beat G.I. Joe anyday. =p
