Btw: Those ugly appartment blocks at 1.45 are in the city of Jena. Most cities in former soviet Germany have beautiful city centers but huge and ugly appartment suburbs.

on your next turn drive to eisenach and visit the wartburg (martin luther has translate the old testament into the new) and go to the automobil museum (here´s the beginning from bmw). drive from frankfurt the autobahn 4 in right east going dresden. its better and you can see more from the country. greetings from germany

Nice video. But if you come next time to Germany, please watch out for two things:
1st: You have to use the right lane, if it's free.
2nd: It is now (since October 2010) forbidden to drive without snow tires in winter.

What is it about the autobahn that seems to mysterious and magical to me? It has always been my dream to drive on it! Germany is so beautiful how could the people who live there get used to it? America's landscape sucks and so does it's highways. We also barely have any alternative energy windmills.

mistake at 2:47 : all heavy trucks are limited to 80km/h (50mph), but beware of unlimited light trucks, they can reach 160km/h (100mph).
