  • I see a bunch of MRAs found this video.

  • Girl or boy, the sex, race, and area of the world should have no bearing on anything in any way...human is human...stop behaving like monsters and animals (yes I know we are animals in classification). Still, is it so hard to throw away the bad beliefs of the past, that obviously did not work, and just be human to each other?

  • ...Compared to single working fathers?

  • Tell me, why is it that single working mothers get paid the least?

  • Old traditions derive and perpetuate from ingrained concepts.

  • Stop prefacing everything I believe in with "behave". ANYway...

Way to overlook everything I've just said. AND you've just said. Here are the facts: Mothers get paid less, the apparent reason being that they end up "working less". This is because of maternity leave. Women stay home and take care of the kids in lieu of working within their professional setting. Also, no one is putting a low emphasis on parenting.

And I said PARENTAL leave, not paternity leave.

  • Being a parent is not a job, it's a duty. So stop behaving as though one gender puts in more work at the home, they don't. Both sexes put in work around the house. No one said she had to stay at home. These are not ingrained concepts, they are old traditions that salad-bar feminists cling onto when it suits their needs. I have yet to see a company that offers paternity leave. Maternity leave on the other hand, ya, pretty much every company offers that, and it's paid too.

  • Well, I am 22 years old and in medical school.

  • The edge on wages experienced by young women evaporates as they progress in their careers. When women do get to middle management, they're paid less than men and they struggle to advance much further up the ladder. And women with children are left far behind.

  • God forbid she goes into her profession a mother and wife. That pay decrease is well-deserved. Right, I forget sometimes. And to counter that with, "Well, they work less" is bullshit. Why do we put such insurmountable, intrinsic value on mothers? It's no wonder fathers get sidelined. Why does she have to stay at home, and compromise her income? Do you see? These are ingrained concepts. Though, there are some progressive companies out there that do offer parental leave.

  • Does the job really matter though? I'm telling you young women are making more money than young men. My evidence I gave you is anecdotal, of course, but there are studies that say the exact same thing. There's nothing wrong with being a secretary. Nothing at all. All I'm saying is that the way money moves around this economy has been more and more geared towards women and predominantly women dominated industries for the last three to four decades now.

  • So on average, yes they do. For our generation (not sure if you are part of mine or not, just assuming) the wage gap is done and over with, and anyone who says otherwise is a disingenuous liar. Just go look at the latest studies. Young, single, childless, women earn more than young, single, childless men. 8% more in fact. Again, there is no more wage gap. The expectations to be taken care of are still there though.
