u have to convert the files to avi in order to use it on windows movie maker.

No you dont! Contact sony customer support and you will get an updated version of Photo browser. Then There is an option to convert it to Windows movie maker files. Thats how I make mine... I use the same camera but this vid was boring lol.

Thats because the cam saves it as a MPEG-4 video. not MPEG-1 like the rest of the Sony Cams, I dont know why, I know its weird cos you can't edit vids on WMM, you need some type of external program to deal with MPEG-4 videos. I use Muvee

its a pretty good camera but when i download it to the computer it is in the movie player quiktime so i can't seem to get it onto windows movie player i can only upload strait to youtube
