@madbomber69 When you accelerate, it will bring the front of the car up, if you brake it will put the front of the car down. Turning in the air and accelerating/ braking tilts the car sideways as well as up and down, turn left and accelerate and it will tilt right and up.
Its easier than it sounds though, you dont need to think about it, its natural what you need to do, just turn into the fall, if its falling left you turn left.

When u jump with a monstertruck then u will learn that the nose of the truck goes up by accelerating and down by braking and staying long enough in full throttle position will end up in a backflip ;-)

Depends on what you want to do with it. For jumping and action like in this Vid u ll have to buy a monster. A buggy cant be controlled as well as a monster in the air, because the tires of the buggy are too small.

I am satisfied with my X SS. Didnt try other Monsters but Savages and i had 4 of them. The X SS is the only durable Savage. The 25 or 21 Savage for example sucks and isnt very durable.
