Brad Pitt Celebrates Angelina Jolie's "Remarkable Achievement" at the Producers Guild Awards

Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we're taking you on the carpet at the Producer's Guild Awards! Find out what Brad Pitt told us about Angelina Jolie's film and friend George Clooney in today's PopSugar Rush.

BRAD PITT: "I've been in it since the moment she woke up and said, I think I'm going to write something, I have an idea . . . It was very symbolic of where the country could go, needs to go, is trying to go, and quite a remarkable achievement."

Brad Pitt continues to show his support for Angelina Jolie's In the Land of Blood and Honey! After staying by Angelina's side during one premiere after another for the film, Brad once again came out for his long-time love at this weekend's Producers Guild Awards where Angelina wore a sexy Michael Kors dress to receive the night's prestigious Stanley Kramer Award for her directing debut.

ANGELINA JOLIE: The subject matter means so much to me, and I honestly can't tell you how much it means to be here tonight and associated with Stanley Kramer who is someone whose films have changed our lives and how we view the word.

PopSugar editor Lindsay Miller was the on the carpet to greet Brad and Angelina as well as the night's other famous attendees.

LINDSAY: Some of this evening's presenters are already big winners this award season from George Clooney to Viola Davis.

VIOLA DAVIS: "It's a combination of impending death and joy, that's how it feels award season."

Viola's name has already come up on a few award ballots this year, including the recent Golden Globes, and even though she lost to Meryl Streep, she told us she was excited to see friend Octavia Spencer's touching speech during the evening's show.

VIOLA DAVIS: "Oh wonderful, my reaction to everything she does is wonderful. We've become such close friends, we talk three or four times a day . . . I'm happy with everything, everything she does."

BRAD PITT: Listen, listen, he's my buddy, we're always having a laugh — at each other's expense by the way.

And the Golden Globes were on Brad Pitt's mind as well. He told us there were no hard feelings over George's little joke at the awards show, when he came out walking with Brad's cane.

GEORGE: "I have to give it back to him, he can't make it to the bar otherwise."

For the record, it looks like Brad's all healed now.

Award season continues this week with the SAG Awards on Sunday, but first, get ready for one major announcement — Oscar nominations come out tomorrow morning.
