Woohoo, FC #102 lol. Tricky to FC, its up there in my best FCs. It's also a really awesome song, departed ftw. For those of you who were watching my stream and saw how bad I was doing last night on this song, I got it first try this morning, I guess I was just too tired last night lol. I Really enjoyed streaming, and will probably do it once a week or so. Anywhoooo, enjoy the video.

@UnrealEcko Perhaps the way the drummer from the dropkick murphys plays? That may be the right way to play it. Try that. Cymbals, that's fine. If they're broken you can't do much about that. But at least use two hands on the rolls. It makes it much more challenging, and it's the correct way of doing it.

@KFantasy Just because the drummer from it plays it one way dont expect every drummer to play it that way. Everyone has their own style. I CAN play it with two hands i just didnt. Sorry if I'm sounding like a jerk i kind of had an awful night.

Dude, I actually think it's good that people get to know rock bands from the "golden years" through guitar hero and Rock Band. Isn't that the whole point? I started listening to rock before guitar hero, but guitar hero helped me discover a lot of new bands, and that's great, because I'm only 16 and I wasn't alive back in the day when Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, AC/DC... were getting big. So I really like it how todays kids (me included) are getting to know rock music and are getting attached to it

@UnrealEcko well, ya got the whole "proper technique" thing. It matters when you're playing real drums, but I don't see why you should care so much on rock band. On real drums, you gotta worry about accents, dynamics, and believe it or not, there's actually a very distinct sound between alternating and one handed.

You don't have to play it like every drummer does, but it sure as hell sounds better, and you can even play around with the accents more easily... and they sound better. My 2 cents

@wgcgolf Dear god I'd forgotten about this. Hardly trolling, man. It just seems to not do a song justice if you're playing it differently just because it is rock band, yknow? I'm no drummer. I drum on rock band and that's about it. Not my thing at all in real life. You're right, all that matters is hitting the notes, but hey, why not at least make it a little more fun and challenging and play it the actual way the person who wrote it plays it? That's my point.
