Terrible AI in L4D2

I love the game don't get me wrong, but there are some rather blatant holes in the games AI. This was my first time playing this mission so i didn't exactly know where to go. In it my teammates let a smoker completely incapacitate me when they could have clearly shot him. After that while healing they run away to a catwalk while leaving me to fend for myself. I don't think they fired a shot during the end.

Me and my friend was doing dead center and everybody got incapped except rochelle and she just patrolled up and down until my friend died, then she rescued us :/

i was here and hunter pounched on me and bots are standing right in my face and dont doing anything

Left 4 Dead 2 AI at it's finest. My personal favorite: Hunter on me, and my friend. (versus mode) the AI survivors don't do anything, they just stand, and look at us.
