Harrisburg PA Tax Day Tea Party April 15, 2009

Even though they stood in the pouring rain, about 2,000 or more citizens showed at the Capitol steps in Harrisburg to protest government spending and related issues as part of the 2009 Tax Day Tea Party. Moms with kids in strollers, blue collar workers, vets, retirees....it seems a wide spectrum of Pennsylvanians were on hand. Let's recall that "tea party" implies oppression from a government that taxes unfairly, in the original case, the British taxing the American colonies. It's time that we talked about the legality of secessionism.
