  • Now THAT'S a kite festival!! =D Awesome!

  • @ScoutCrafter Thanks for comment.

Yeah, Fanoe DK is one of the greatest kitevestival in the world, maybe it is the greatest. The western beach is about 10 miles long and up to 1 mile wide! See also my other Video /watch#!v=qS6Ddm7ixcA (that's a 360 degree pamorama) or other "Fanoe Kite" - related videos - then you can maybe imagine how huuuuge this kitefestival is. ;-)

  • I saw you fly this on Fano stunning

  • @Welshkiteflyer It's not my kite - but it is stunning indeed.

  • @SH1974

Ah ok thanks for reply, Yes i watched them assemble it and it took ages the wind was perfect too.

I also watched them assembling this kite. You're right, it took ages.

But don't forget: This was the first assembly and they have to adjust a lot of things (Length of the carbon frame and briddle) before the first flight.

I think, if they set up this kite again now, they'll do it in less than 1 hour.

"8er Lutz" knows how to handle big kites like this... ;-)

(Btw: I am the one who is called "the swiss" by Alfons and 8er Lutz.)

  • Thanks for comment.

Jeah, it is really hardly lifting. But it was the first flight of this kite, so they intentionally make the first try in low winds (a bit less then 3 bft).

Imagine how dangerous it would be if they start this monster in 6 bft and anything (eg. briddle) is not well adjusted....

  • Big monster needs a lot of wind. Hardly lifted off! Great kite.
