The 2008 fire works at Black heath were terrible this year ! Just before the fireworks began, the council announced on the PA system that this years fireworks were paid for by two private companies ! I had not heard of the two firms .
So boring and not breath taking like usual, people were bored and gave up looking, the display went on longer than usual, they really stretched them out ! I was very disapointed, and no one apart from VIP wrist banded people could go on the heath/ grass area.

Yes; Traditional are the Blackheath Fireworks; Read in the News Shopper, however, that they are under risk due to cost !! So says the Council;!
