I've been wondering, are the DSI synths good at modelling physical instruments? If so, which is better? Which is more capable of creating a broader range of sounds?

@totallycosmc The DSIs can not do physical modelling, they alway sound synthetic. The Prophet is analog only, the Poly Evolver can do kind of digital landscapes and plugged string sounds through Karplus–Strong synthesis. For modelling physical instruments look for the recent Korgs and Rolands or PlugIns from NI etc.
