I remember sitting up to watch this when it was first shown in England and would consider it a fairly accurate description of what the "facts" were and are before the revisionists got to work on distortions. A terrific series documenting WWII, made seven years after its end. Some wonderful stirring music accompanies the film footage. I was 10 when I saw the TV series, it influenced me a great deal, as good productions about meaningful events (and memorable music) have a tendency to achieve.
