@SuperBulletAnt nahh not really the guy is not comfortable with his game at all
-
@SuperBulletAnt remember these are filmed right after they play the match, it's only natural they're focusing on evaluating their own game. if you read the whole interview he does give credit to Murray. Also how does mentioning flaws = arrogance? :s
-
@opium1510 credit was rightful in aus open for murray too. rafa only had a problem when he was 2 sets and a break down. before that it was a very high quality match. did you even watch it?
-
@SuperBulletAnt you do realise this is an excerpt of the interview? If you read the whole thing, you'll find that he does praise murray, saying that he has 'unbelievable potential' and other stuff.
And what he says here, well, its blindingly obvious that he wasnt even close to his best. Are they not even allowed to say the truth nowadays without sounding arrogant? If he said otherwise, it would be, well, plain lying.

I guess when you win as many grand slams as he does you warrant that perfectionist demeanour. People gave Murray all the credit at Australian Open 10 in the quarter final despite rafa suffering with tendonitis. This guy won the match fair and square and deserves all the plaudits. Well done Rafa!

He's starting to seem quite arrogant. Keeps mentioning his flaws and doesn't praise murray's play at all really
Rafa never downgrade any player nor Murray... if you hear what he says "it's a very tough match" so it means he didn't say that he is better than Murray and he never said that he played it easily. He always give credit to the opponent he will face in the court in whatever ranking he will be. Arrogant is a very big word to accuse of a good person.
