♡Wedding Series: Pretty Bridesmaid Makeup♡

For my sister's wedding, I'm doing her bridesmaids' makeup, as well as my own since I'm the maid of honor! Our dresses are a rich eggplant purple color, so I decided to do a soft purple smokey eye. Of course, you can always change the color depending on your bridesmaid dress color!

Really love the purples...do you like the elf primer? I've been looking for a good one but don't really want to pay the price for MAC haha and I saw the elf one was cheap

Also if I'm NC42 in MAC foundation what color do you think I would be in the revlon foundation you used?

@queenbee786 Thanks! I do like the ELF primer for the price it is, but one thing is that it can feel a bit greasy. I don't think it clogs my pores at all, but if you use too much and apply it to your face, it can leave a slippery/greasy feel.

I would say either 005 or 006. I know 005 matches NC40, so you can try out 006, which is the shade I am! :0)

@lkgrlygrl I would go with a pinky or nude lip, something that's not too bright and bold! And I recommend either a purple eye or a natural brown/taupe eye. Neutral goes with everything! :0)

@lkgrlygrl Glad I could help you out! ^__^ And if you want it up, then you could always curl your hair, and taking little pieces, create a little loop and pin it on the back of your back. And just keep doing it with small pieces of hair until all your hair is put up!

@lkgrlygrl I JUST attended my sister wedding and my dress was also eggplant purple haha! So this tutorial is how I did my makeup, light but pretty, and I also did this look on all the other brides maids. As for hair, I curled it and pulled it over to one side.

@lkgrlygrl In case you have eyeshadow fallout on your face, it's easier to do it beforehand and apply your foundation/concealer over any fallout. Especially if it's for a special occasion like a wedding! :0)
