  • @TheIgnoranTintellect To quote your comment on my short film: "professionals use tact and the ones who don't are assholes plain and simple"

  • @TheIgnoranTintellect Ya know what buddy? Guess what my job was before I became a professional film critic. I was the guardian of 7 mentally handicapped children. Yes, I did that for 2 years, all day, 5 days a week. So don't you ever, EVER call me insecure or immature because I've chosen not to have children. It's a desicion made over 2 years of dealing with children that has come of from a lot of experience. You've gotta realize that you don't know everything about someone just at a glance.

wut. I don't want to have kids and I am not abnormal in any way. It is becoming increasingly common to not want to have kids or get married. If anything has changed, it is societal norms and whatnot. If you want kids, have kids. If you dont, be polite while overtaking breeders in your $400 000 supercar.

  • now this the true review for we bought a zoo

  • This movie actually made me want to have kids....Well, adopt that is. Probably adopt toddlers. Check them out a bit before I agree to it, and step up to the plate to be the best mother I can possibly be. I guess I saw it as a challenge. But I can understand......still, people like Kevin are exceptionally rare and it must be noted that Eva was not ready for children when she had him. She did not love him in the beginning. People need to be ready before they adopt or procreate. :)

  • i was in this movie.

  • I applaud you for not giving to much of the plot. When I found out his true nature I couldn't help but think, "Dammit Chris you really under-emphasized Kevin's character." Thank you, your review is spot on and you should know I hardly even noticed to the music (score).

  • I read the book earlier this year and didn't even realize it'd been made into a movie. Thanks for the review. I'll definitely be checking it out.

  • Some critics are afraid to say what Kevin does because it's a spoiler, but it says what he does in the synopsis on most websites.

  • ~Excellent review Chris~

~I'm intrigued so Ive got to see this film~

  • You're right about not recommending the film to pregnant ladies. I'm pregnant myself but read the book about a year ago. It is a fantastic read but I work real hard to not to think about the story at this time.

  • maybe it's having read the book first, but I didn't like the movie. I think it was kind of hard to get into and didn't really show the dilemma of why kevin became who he did.
