So its ok for obama to destroy the Constitution too?
-
Okay, I find myself unable to not comment on this. Yeah, Bush sucks. He is pure evil. When he's not getting his dick sucked at the Bohemian Grove, he is busy dumping depleted uranium into the water supplies in Iraq so that children are born with terrible ailments and deformities. But Bush isn't the only one that is evil here. Bush killed the Constitution, Obama will bury it. Obama just very well could be the antichrist. Keep that in mind when you sheeple are voting him in.

the problem with impeaching is that chenney and his lawer have set is up so that as long as we are in a state of war executive powers are unlimited and signing statements allow them to bipass the congress. we cant impeach, we have grounds but the system of checks and balances is no longer there to impeach them with

We wouldn't be about to fiscally explode if Bush hadn't cut taxes for the rich and pushed to fund an unnecessary 3 trillion dollars war... stupid.

Hey, easy on the cheap whiskey. It's gotten many of us through rough days :)

Jamsie, I agree. Next to Ron Paul, all the rest of them are like cheap whiskey.
It takes a Democrat and Liberal to love the Constitution? Hypocrites! That's so SICK I don't know where to begin!
How about providing universal healthcare when the government is ready to fiscally explode? Who's going to pay for that? China?
How about it's Liberals that have created a welfare state, spitting all over the Constitution.
The Constitution isn't about providing, it's about preserving and defending, STUPID!
And make no mistake, Republicans DO have blood on their hands as well.

That's just about the most ridiculous reply possible. Health care and the supposed welfare state have nothing to do with the Constitution. As long as you raise the issue, universal health care would seriously reduce health care costs. We spend far more per capita then any other country while millions have no access and our health care outcomes are rated last in the industrial world. It took Bill Clinton (a Dem, not so liberal) to cut welfare 50%. The real welfare problem is corporate welfare.

The Dems are no different. If they were, they would have impeached Bush already.

I think they should have tried, but the reality is that Bush would never get convicted in the Senate. The spineless Republicans, who essentially have half the seats, would never buck the party line. There are many people who support impeachment that do not believe that the futility of the outcome justifies what would be an all-consuming diversion.

I think the power of the presentation gets lost with the inference that the Democrats have no blood on their hands. Too bad it had to be partisan. Both parties are two sides of the same corrupt/disgusting coin.

To some extent you are right. However, the party has two parts, the constituents and the leadership. The vast majority of Democratic constituents are disgusted with the lack of backbone of the leadership. Whereas, the Republican constituents clearly favor candidates that would give us four more destructive years.
