  • Just a note, the Chev Monza is currently owned by Des Wall and its actually bodied as a Toyota Supra (it still has the 6L Chev in it). Plans are to restore it to its former Monza glory.

  • @Galahorn - this category still runs, hard to get exposure though when the taxi's dumped us off the support card. check out my vids, i have some video's of this category in modern times !!

  • Crompos Rotary sounds awesome!

  • Thompson's Chevy Monza was the ex Bob Jane car. Built & raced in 1982 by Jane & Peter Brock. Crashed by Brock @ Adelaide in 83 (broken axle off the line). bought by Alan Browne (Re-Car) it dominated the GT title in 84 driven by Allan Grice. Driven by Grice, Dick Johnson & Ron Harrop in the 1st FIA world championship race in Australia, the last round of the 1984 World Sportscar Championship @ Sandown, then bought & raced by Thompson from the 85 GT season.
