Thanks HrLarson, I feel it's a good thing to sing and play acoustic like way back when!

Good stuff Johan! A godgiven singer like you don't need no amps.

Thanks guys, and yes it's a great instrument to sing over! Much much more mandolin to come...

Rich Delgrosso is, as you probably know, considered to be the world's best blues mandolin player ( and teacher )! He does a track on the CD called "Mandolin Man"'
where he basically traces the history of blues mandolin....! He also refers to the origins of "Jug Band Music" in 1903 in Louisville KY. I'll be playin' some cuts, including that one, on my radio show this weekend. ( I believe you know how to find that.... )

Hej Johan!
Yeah, I love all acoustic gigs too! That mando sounds great, and so do you! I been thinkin' 'bout pickin' up a a mando myself! I think you just put me over the edge on that one! Haven't tried a mandolin since way back in my bluegrass days.
If you haven't already done so you should check out the new CD from Rich Delgrosso & John Del Toro Richardson called "Time Slips On By"
You'll love it !
