This performance of Mitchell's powerful poem, To Whom It May Concern, was filmed in London's Royal Albert Hall on June 11, 1965. It is as relevant today, if you change the country concerned from Vietnam to Iraq!

  • Blackwater (called Xe and now called Academi) is returning to Iraq as the government tells the people that the troops are coming home.

  • First time I ever heard this poem was at the beginning of a song. can't remember the song but I do remember the poem. I love it.

  • @gatarojo This is from the International Poetry Incantation at the Albert Hall in 1965 (look it up!). The documentary is called 'Wholly Communion'. If you look - you can see Ginsberg in the audience in this clip!
