Onigashima in the Fairyland ~ Missing Power (Touhou Songs #61)

After the past few uploads, I think it'll be nice to have a slower, more instrumental piece to balance out the fast-paced, upbeat songs that came before it.

This is an arrange of Suika's theme from Touhou 7.5, Immaterial and Missing Power. The original song is fitting for the final battle against Suika, but this takes that and makes a much more emotional piece using the piano and violin. I've actually heard a few versions of this song; there's one without the violin and just piano, and another is the vocal song that this is apparently based off of, but this is my personal favorite of the bunch.

With the holiday season approaching, it's nice to take a deep breath and relax a bit. Especially in places like the US, where people are constantly lost in their work and responsibilities, I think it's important to take a moment and remember what you enjoy about life and what you're thankful for (this totally has nothing to do with Thanksgiving having passed recently).
