Drug Abuse/ Abusers

Just sharing my feelings about a high school standout who is now a full time crack addict.

How do you go from being a gifted and talented student with enough potential for 20 kids to being a drug addict???

JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS!

Maybe I'm insensitive but I totally agree wit Barbie! If u KNOWINGLY decide to gamble ur life away, use dirty needles, willingly get addicted to cigs, drugs, or any other abusive behavior, that's THEIR choice & also THEIR fault!

Unless someone was raped, born addicted, or some other tragic reason they r addicted of no fault of their own, I have NO pity for them either!!

As she said, they KNOWINGLY decide to "get dirty"so now they can gladly stay at Greyhound, park benches, & shelters!

Growing up my dad put the fear of God in me when it came to drugs. We would drive through some of the bad neighborhoods and he'd point people out and say 'u see look at that person that's what drugs will do to you'. He would have his drug addicted brother show us the marks in his arms & tell us the horrors. Some friends laugh when I say I never smoked marijuana but I laugh at them. Bunch of followers.

I guess there is no excuse for anyone to be imperfect, (being sarcastic, of course). We cannot fully understand the workings of another's brain...which makes me glad that God judges, 'cause humans r too unforgiving. I am glad there is another demension that God can c, that we have no clue about. Humans r too narrow/ignorant to match up w/God's mercy and His ability to take "trash" and clean it up and make gold out of it, (and keep it so). I'll take God's favor over human sympathy anyday.

At least the addicts can go to the public library during the day (between stealing, smoking, drinking, & begging for $ of course) & check their email & use the internet.

@BlakeBarbieDoll You do know that in the past 30yrs or more the food and meats have been altered with man made drugs and genetically. Think about the steroids and hgh put in the meats which pass on to people who don't know and aren't being told. All these things altering our bodies that is called legal. @upabittoolate Of course it graduates to a health care issue when the crack head or cocain abuser is forced into a recovery program (which is how they usually get there). However, it does not originate as one. It is a social issue. Please, stop making excuses for grown people who piss their lives away by making bad decision after bad decision.
