@dreamdemon99 trapcode actually has two default settings for snow, it's dead easy to get stuck in!

Could you make a tutorial video, showing how to make this. This is one of the best effects i've saw on youtube.

How did you do the flaming embers floating around the screen?
HighAcuity 1 year ago
@HighAcuity
hey. I did the embers using Trapcode Particular. Basically have the gravity at <0 so the particles will float up, then change the particles to faded sphere and lastly, increase the Turbulence Field for position and that's it. The Turbulence field helps make the embers look like they're floating up randomly. Also, if you add some WindX, it'll move the embers to the left or right depending on whether your value is '-' or '+'. Hope that helps

@bompakk would this effect you used on the embers also work for snow? I've been looking into making some believable snow. a response would be much appreciated

@dreamdemon99
yeah it will work well. Have a look at my company's website. In the video section, look for "Encounters at the End of the World". Same thing like the embers except the particles are not faded sphere but cloud and the gravity is increased over >1 and some wind X to push it to the right
