  • Would you mind sharing what brand/model boom arm that is at 0:53? Looks quite sturdy.

    Also that parabolic reflector at the start seems a bit different to the broncolor units etc that I have seen, what is it?

  • That is a Manfrotto MegaBoom on a Manfrotto Double Wind Up and the reflector is a Briese. Hope that helps!

  • The Reflector isn't a Briese and it's not a parabolic reflector; it's a 1.9 metre Elinchrom Octabank with an Elinchrom 600 by the looks of it providing the watt-seconds. It looks like a parabolic reflector because the front diffuser isn't attached. Some photographers use this modifier without the diffuser to get a more specular light. You cannot 'focus' the light as you can with a Broncolor or Briese.
