I just wanted to show you how the gameplay looks with my system configuration. I agree, on Windows 7 GTA IV is running faster than on Vista. You should watch this in HD for better effect.

Resolution: 1280x1024
Texture Quality: High
Render Quality: Highest
View Distance: 1 (cause I have only 512MB on my card)
Detail Distance: 50
Vehicle Density: 50
Shadow Density: 7 (I don't see any differences when it's higher)
**Benchmark Results**
Average FPS: 51.38
Duration: 37.09 sec
CPU Usage: 92%
System memory usage: 56%
Video memory usage: 100%

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: Intel Core2Duo e8400 @ 4.2 GHz
Video: ATI Radeon HD4870 512MB
Mainboard: ASUS p5Q PRO
RAM: Kingston 4096MB DDR2 Dual-Channel
RAM Speed: 478 MHz (1:1) @ 5-5-5-18
Oh, and yeah I overclocked my e8400. It's running stable at 4.2 Ghz (1.31V).

view distance 100 evey bar thing 100 some medium

almost everybody got the same problem with GTA 4...lagging...it looks that the game laggs mutch on windows 7...i don't know why..i have the same problem...
