@3Rules4Europe Yeah I thought about doing this to get some RoM because I did not have a bench to do my reverse flies on and could not bend properly at the hip to get a perfectly prone torso.
You have a very large knowledge of physical culture. This exercise is an old one, it was taken from swedish gymnastic, and modified by Pr Jean Arlaud, in the early part of XXth century, with the adjunction of hand held weights. This exercise is not much known outside of the french speaking physical culture circles, and even there, it is a very underrated one. I am pleasantly surprised you are endorsing this underestimated "vintage" movement. :-)
