  • how much line do u put out?

  • @wavygr We generally cast about 50ft or more out. More is better and the jigs still runs the same depth because of line friction against the water itself. More line does make it a tad difficult to turn around, You really have to speed it up during turns or the jigs will fall and possibly hang up on something... The troll bite is starting right now so tie up a couple of poles and give it a shot. There's no better teacher than time spent on the water...

  • Im a Faircloth as well sir! Were you by chance fishing Lake Eufaula in Alabama?

  • @ipoptags Yes Sir, Ala/Ga...Just south of Florence Marina

  • how do you rig it

  • @fishingbud1 We've loop knot tied two 32nd oz pony head jigs about 18" apart with 1.5" curlytail grubs. This technique works well on most Ga lakes. Troll them at speeds from ,7 to around 1.2 mph by way of GPS. This episodes speed was .9 to 1 mph even which maintains a 10 to 12ft consistent depth with double 32nd jigs...
