if it came after Harry Potter? Yes. If it came before, then no. I think you're confusing what he's saying. The book doesn't have to be similar to be copying an advertising tactic. Although, I don't think it's really fair to criticize Twilight for copying something that works. *shrugs*

Haha, Brad! Thanks for mentioning the release parties. A couple of people at school on Friday were like "Are you going to the midnight release party tonight?" And I was like, "Why the fuck would I do that? They ripped off Harry Potter and can die in a hole." Of course, it's regardless of the fact that I went out and bought a special edition of the DVD yesterday, the day it was released. It's beside the point. They took our release parties.
