Is it pumping fresh water from a land or sea water? When I pour fresh water into my salt water fish tank it gets very difficult to see, like snorkeling in the ocean when it ranis.

Its fresh water, it does a chemical mixture which makes the water blurry, I cant remember the name of that.
I used to work with sonar and you get to see when water mixes, and the image is not as good.
