and OIFEagle is right, put your gas mask in a tubberware or plastic baggy in a drawer, keep it out of all elements, that way the rubber around the mask which seals it to your face will get brittle and crack. But like i said, you wont go far with that outdated thing.

Hey man nice set up but your gas mask is majorly outdated, looks like an israelian m15, i could be wrong, on what model, but now doubt its outdated, those filters will not do much good with some of today newer organic chemicals (viruses). As personally a qualified first responder for HAZMAT and lead emergency issues, i recommend a NORTH 7700 series, or 5500 series, they use the latest chem stack filters, for particle, organic, and chemical or biological protection. Not to bad of a price too.

You don't want to hang the "gas mask" by the straps like that. It will lose elasticity and you won't be able to seal it very well.
