World Largest Beach Balls

Although it happened a year ago, sometimes you see something that just leaves you with a sense of awe. Because Group Dynamix appreciates a fun group adventure, we what Carnival Cruise Line attempted on October 26th in Dallas, Texas - they successfully set a new world record for the largest inflatable beach ball.

Literally rolling its way along a road to success, Carnival Cruise Lines Largest Inflatable Beach Ball firmly bounced itself into Guinness World Records history. As a visual testament to the companys emphasis on providing larger than life fun to its cruise ship guests, the cruise line created the 10.99 metre wide ball.
According to the event organizers, the beach balls 695,179.43 cubic litres of air contained within 379.51 square metres of plastic equals the storage capacity of 16 Boeing 737-400 commercial airplanes.
With that much space occupied, there was little room left for error but when the ball was accidentally bounced off a street lamp and onto the GPS antenna of a parked car, the beach ball burst with the sound of a gunshot blast. Despite the unforeseen incident the ball was suitably repaired and quickly refilled with air to avoid defeat. Guinness World Records

Creating a ball with such mass proportions is impressive, however, we are impressed with how they created a fun interactive experience for a large group of people. That is exactly what Group Dynamix does! So from one company that provides larger than life fun to another, we applaud you!
