12-year-old Filipino boy converts to Islam - March 30, 2008

The cast of The Message and Women in Islam had been invited to Antipolo City by one of our avid listeners on the radio to witness her 12-year-old son embrace Islam.
Insh'Allah we pray for Allah (SWT) the cherisher and sustainer of all things to bring more men and women to Islam throughout these Islands. If it is Allah's will, we ask that we may be witness to more of these beautiful events.

Yes, God has commanded all people from the time of Abraham (actually before that even) until Muhammad to be circumcised.

Here in the Philippines it is a common practice for young men to be circumcised at around age 7-8 and I've been told by men that it's a very proud moment for them as boys to "become men" by being circumcised.

Since I was born in the USA, mine was done when I was an infant by my Christian parents.

circumcision here are like almost a "must:" because every Filipino thinks it is disgusting not to get circumcised...

I respect muslims since I study in a catholic school where muslims are also allowed to enroll... and I have a muslim friend too...
