@TheFreshbum You bet! About peanuts: They are high in fat ratio, but still better than all the sat/fat and LDL in meat. Also they are high in Omega 6 but low in Omega 3. Throw in a handful of walnuts with them, which are good source of O-3 and they rock!
nutritiondata.self.com is one of my favorite sites!

@FathomlessJoy damn, this is totally new to me. I think most people out there aren't aware of that. I was always tought that peanuts are great, but would lack certain essential amino acids which ONLY animal product proteins could deliver.
Thanks man :-)

@TheFreshbum Sure, but Sam's sells whey for like 300 pounds for a dollar, if it was that cheap and easy, lots of Jay Cutlers would be walking around. I think his indigestible whey powder is supplemented with lots of branch chain amino acids AND a complete anobolic profile ;)

@FathomlessJoy He might be on some whey protein as well ;-)

@TheFreshbum Of course if you want to look like Jay Cutler, you are going to have to do LOTS of veggies AND lots and lots of roids!
;)

@TheFreshbum "How does it work out for you since veggies lack certain amino acids?" All fruits and veggies have all essential amino acids, and lots have all 22! And, if you eat them raw, they are live, haven't been killed via heat. Great way to build muscle!

@TheFreshbum Here is a great site (nutritiondata.self.com) that has just the facts and a great way (graphs and charts) to view it, without all the myths and stereotypes. Check out some of your favorite veggies foods, you may be blown away by their amino acid profiles. I used this site (after I had been vegan a year) to learn that all fruits and veggies have all essential amino acids. Check out spinach and romaine lettuce and lentils, all have more protein per calorie than chicken!

@pibadar It was good until you started typing .....

@nextinline777 I'm into bodybuilding and I know the basics about nutrition. However I had NO idea that some living plants provide all 9 necessary amino acids.
Great to know, thx.
@TheFreshbum "protein" are amino acids. All living plants have amino acids. Your body converts amino acids into muscle growth. Theres more usuable protein in an avacardo than a 1 pound stake. But we do make the mistake of cooking food which destroys the life 'prana' force which we need.. Including the nutriants. + enzymes which is needed for digestion. But yes to answer your question. Everything has amino acids. Quinoa is a great source of all 9 amino acids. Hope that answers your question (:

@KENNyHULKSMASH117 Your logic is beyond flawed. Keep telling yourself its not cheating to supplement with test, its natural to have lower levels as you age. Altering those levels with an outside influence is going against the natural process. This means, it is not natural bodybuilding now doesn't it? You're a fool.
