  • Is the dvd still available? If positive, what's its contents?

    Thanks in advance.

  • You believe what you say and are committed to it. My observations on telegraphing intent, an apparent weakness. But I checked your profile, again, and your intensity has grown from the last time I looked. You seem very angry. There is greater power than anger. I wish you the best and good fortune. I will not waste either of our time any longer.

  • Yeah. I've learned to never ever telegraph your intentions or your emotions. It gives too much away. besides I use Kung Fu as a tool to help keep my ego in check, especially as there is so much to learn in CLF, I figure If I remain humble I can learn as much as possible, I don't care about the 100 or so forms, But I do care about its effectiveness in the ones I do know.

  • I was trained In CLF but as my Sifu lives in Hong Kong its very hard to get a hold of her. Besides living in California makes it very hard to receive more training from her, I've just been working on the several forms I do know, and trying to weed out the movements that are in-effective for me, I keep them in when I teach as I feel it is not my place to tell others whats effective for them. I've heard of WuDe but my sifu told me to treat others as I wish to be treated thats it.

  • Agreed. It has amazingly powerful potential in ones life on so many levels. And, yes, a practitioner can effectively defend themselves when necessary. Cailifo was developed after nearly 23 years of training. It was well constructed and well thought out before founded.

As a matter of consideration, it is to a fighters benefit to have less bluster about their style. Or, at least, don't give away all the nuance and subtlety to a potential opponent.

  • Surely more brutal times than now. There is no denying that extreme force was more necessary then, than now. CLF provides that ability with training. However, the skilled well-trained artist could discern when to use that level, or not. For some, it appears have been trained at higher levels, but lacking the WuDe that goes with the training at higher levels.

  • I agree, it is a well balanced system.

  • My statements? I try to use wisdom in everything I say and do, but sometimes it doesn't come out that way LOL, sorry If I offended you.

  • That is good to hear. Sometimes your presentation does not do you represent you well, then.
