"Terminator 2" wins Best Visual Effects Oscar 1991

This is the Best Visual Effects segment from The 64th Annual Academy Awards in 1992 (1991 year). Stan Winston, Dennis Muren, Robert Skotak and Gene Warren, Jr. took it for "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." Diane Ladd and Laura Dern present the award (who were both nominated that same year for "Rambling Rose"). This is Stan Winston's second Oscar of the night, winning for Best Makeup earlier in the evening for "T2."

"... rent it!" now i can see why they keep bringing him back and people keep watching him - never any "down" time. the dunaway joke crashed and burned like the atomic bomb joke that it was. but he saved it with that little quip and some good timing. this year is already 100% guaranteed to be better than last year's *eh-herm* conedy duo
