  • I cant understand what its saying. Can someone tell me

  • Door Armed.............Slide Will Deploy

  • This system is indeed available for purchase. It is currently fitted to the 757 and 767 of Icelandair. A significant interest has been shown by some of the major players in the USA. Are you in the industry? Regards Kevin

  • I know at my airline we could use that on the Airbuses. You get a slide from just looking at the door funny.

  • Boeing 757 door?

  • @Eric2221 haha!

  • @10newsrox

HAHA...i mean the airline i work at. Wish i owned one...but realisticly owning airlines is how billionaires become millionaires

  • @Eric2221 ROFL ROFL ROFL u odnt have a airline but nice joke dude its rofl

  • Lol

  • @alarm56 it says "door armed slide will deploy"!

  • I Thought it said Go around slide won't deploy to start with

  • I this on all Boeing 757 aircraft? Next time I'm on American Airlines I want to touch it and see if the door barks at me. lol

  • very neat invention...

  • Oh gosh, that should be fitted on all airlines. Accidental deployment of the slide is quite serious. Causes major delays and very costly to be 'wrapped up' again if my sort time at First Choice is anything to go by..

  • cool invention who ever thought that up

  • Kinda reminds me of the rear door on school buses, an alarm sounds when a nasty brat decides to turn the handle, alerts the bus driver and doesn't make her too happy lol!

  • They fall under the group headed - Untrained - which includes Cleaners, Catering Crew and Airport Staff

    Why because they:

Lack of training in a non-normal situation.

Lack of knowledge & understanding of door

    opening activities.

  • yes I fly for a UK charter company on the B757, we have blown a few slides over the years but it's always put down to training. I cannot see that as being correct, seems more like human factors to me

  • simply excellent. is this available to purchase or just an idea someone has come up with?

  • Cool. That'll save some embarrassment, as well as a few bucks...
