A Mobile Clubbing / Flashmob event held in London in October. Hundreds of people turned up in the main hall at the tate modern on the 12th October 2007 with their ipods, and at 7:01pm they all started dancing to their own beat. For future events see www.mobile-clubbing.com

You're quite right there. In fact, to this event I took along my archaic Sony Walkman Cassette player, it has Auto Reverse, Dolby NR and even a Bass Boost!! I was mobile clubbing 'old skool'.
