i like the outfit chris has on, the electric blue suit with the beaded shirt. this is a great collection, and i love venue [or whatever you want to call it] the show was held at. excited for the spring 2010 this weekend.

but ya, it was an interview w/ lucan himself, and he explained the story, whi h is really amazing...and yes, the more admiration we can show Alber Elbaz, the better!! even if its just at the end of womens and mens shows, haha, he deserves it all...because if it wasnt for Elbaz, there may not have even been menswear for Lanvin, or Lanvin period..he truly did give it new life

Wow, I've never heard of that before, amazing.
And as for the input... Elbaz might not have any creative input on the menswear, but an indirect influence. There's a lot more to a collection than the garments alone.
Look at the SS08 mens collection where you see Elbaz explaining something to Lucas.
And I also think it's good that Lucas gets out with Alber at the end, it shows humbleness and respect for Elbaz.

mm, right, i read that lucas sent elbaz a letter, showing his admiration, and a week later, he had a job interview for the menswear collection at lanvin! pretty amazing...but i mean, hes designed before, its not his first run, and has said elbaz has no input on the menswear, so is he really a mentor?
again, doesnt really matter, just curious! thanks alot!

haha, beautiful collection! i was a big fan, so many great tops and trousers, and even the sandals!! even tho the beaded sneakers were much cooler, haha
if ossendrijver is the mesnwear designer, why does elbaz come out with him as well?? he doesnt conrtribute to the collections. not that it matters, just curious.
