Before you go talking smack you should also realize that I have the Pioneer DJM-800 Mixer. That was my opened mixer that was being used. In this type of set up, mixers don't affect sound as much. You're using the mixer to output to the real source of sound, the speakers. BUT....When you do this in a live studio, then it becomes relevant when your separating channels and mixing sounds as you RECORD.

@djsupert as a response , the sound is as good as your weakest part in the chain to reproduce it , that comes to even the cables , steady power supply to the components , try using an analog mixer like a xone with some good quality cables and the sound you hear should be more bigger and clearer , enjoy the gear , those m5g look amaizing
