The Measuring of Worth on Youtube

Bit of a rant on people's voracious appetites on sub counts rather than stopping to listen to what a person is actually saying.
NOTE: I am aware both men *and* women do this. I used the colloquialism "penis measuring" because it is a childish and base practice just as popularity contests are. I could have also included "boob measuring."

I'm just annoyed at how some people treat other users based on how many subscribers they have.

I'm watching this vid right after watching Thunderf00t's electronic-Koran burning. I believe that having the most subs among YT atheists has driven his pompous ass into some kind of insane ego trip. I completely agree that valuing based on sub counts is silly. However right now I'm angry, and a little freaked out, that this petty and childish phenomenon has, in the case of Thunderf00t, crossed over the line into some kind of delusional grandiosity that he thinks justifies putting lives at risk.

I love this video. Its funny that some people make such value judgements on YouTube. The reality is that YouTube has degenerated into nothing more than a continuation of adolescent attempts at self validation through establishing a false system of measuring status, and debasing others as is typical at most high schools. I keep getting the feeling that YouTube is where human intellect comes to die.

@abbynormal0ne thanks, but you really do some awesome vids, on yt, i am glad you made this, i still feel the same as when i had just 8, i do not measure my page on subs, but i am glad, that people are getting into them though, but again, if someone has 3 subs, they count
