This video is a tutorial on how to stand out as an extra in a scene:
If you appear as an extra, it is important that you try to place yourself in as many shots as possible. I was an extra in this scene and practically in every shot. I'm wearing the blue sleeveless shirt and sunglasses. I was acting very "limpwristed" and kept my hand on my hip. When they started fighting, I was bouncing around between the 2 actors, involving myself in the action. The scene was shot many times and the director finally noticed me, yelled cut and started screaming at me. They had to re-shoot the scene and you can see me very unnaturally turn around and exit the scene because thats what I was ordered to do. So try to stand out but don't go overboard.
