The BBC used to show these films all of the time back in the 70's and 80's, when I was a kid. And, although, even then they were considered old-fashioned, I still used to watch them. Nowadays, though, they're not shown, and I guess it's kind of justified. But, it would be nice to see/hear them again, even if it were for old time's sake.

@JFredUK Yes, I was also a kid in the 70s/80s and used to watch (and love) Formby films shown on the BBC. I suspect the majority of kids these days would just find it boring. The good thing is the best films have been released on DVD, but beware of cheap bad reproduction unofficial copies.
