My golden is now 13 years old and I still love her. She still likes to jump up, We gave her a bed a the foot of ours. You are lucky with this puppy, you will find goldens are the best dogs.

@The10Games Mine did too when we got him and he was just a little puppy! They get used to you after a couple of days.

@The10Games I got my girl a few day short of 8 weeks. I excpected her to cry for a few days.
She never did. maybe she was too scared or confused...Today she is a very brave dog. She rarely barks.
That alone won hearts even of those opposed to getting a dog :)

where in your house does she sleep? in your room? I'm getting my own golden in 3 weeks and i dunno where she will sleep.. if in my room or living room :P

No, she sleeps in the basement by herself. I slept with her for about 1 month, but not anymore. Because puppies tend to cry more when they're in the crate and see you outside the crate because they want to be with you. If they don't see you, they just don't cry.

Thanks, shes been really really good so far, she loves to sleep on my recliner.
