@SomeoneElse39 I agree. Mary Lou won fair & square at the 84' games which did NOT have the best gymnast in the world ( the Russians ) competing. If the 84' games were fully attended, Mary Lou may have won a bronze in floor or vault but I doult in she would of medaled in the all-around.

Sad to think Mostepanove never got her day in the sun due to the 84' boycott. Mary Lou Retton would of been eating Mostepanova's dust of glory. Mostepanove truely would of been the golden girl all-arounder of the 84' L.A. games without a doult. In my opinion, she was the most gifted gymnast that ever graced the sport of gymnastics!
