  • Question - I tried this in an attempt to capture a video window from a Linux Skype conversation. for me, I was unable to get anything but a non-moving black box captured. I used a slightly different version of wine, and OS (Ubuntu and the standard WINE package), but I'm pretty sure it's goig to be the same issue. You have any thoughts on this?

  • @mrundo seems to me you need to upgrade that Linux box or upgrade the video card on that machine.. or you can also try updating your flash and Macromedia players

  • @audioburnr I don't think I could upgrade anything on this machine higher than it already is. It's an i7 six core box (3.3 ghz), running two video cards, and all sorts of expensive add-ons. We basically picked top-of-the-line everything for this box, so I seriously doubt it's a hardware issue.

At any rate, Windows works fine, so I'm going back to that.
