Improvisation Polyphonic TalkBox Vocoder

Short clip of Jimmy Edgar working in his secondary Detroit studio. Jimmy has a small background of r&b/funk keys, mostly stemming from his jazz rhythm practicing. He plays a few clips from some songs that he wrote "Intimate Connexion", "My Beats" and "I Didn't know youve been watching me"

Growing up in Detroit, Jimmy phased in inspiration from great funk artists like D-Train, Kleeer, Prince, Zapp, Glass, Change, Debarge, and keyboardist like Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
