I think it is awesome that you are building motors, but PLEASE find an alternative to ramming. Gentle pressure on APCP is OK, but every time I see you tap the fuel with that ramrod, especially when you are using the hammer, I expect something to go boom. APCP can detonate with shock! please be careful!

be very carfull man, especially wen ur ramming, i suggest u us a wodden stick or wat ever instead of a metalic one, cos one spark and uv lost an arm

justapyrorocketeer , you sound about my age. Listen, i know High power rocketry is fun. I know APCP is cool shit. I dont know how much you fly, but please listen. I have been dealing with high power rockets for a while. They are not to be fucked with. Your methods of building are very dangerous. AP causes serious cancer. Like your balls where they are? then stop building motors. they wont be there very long. Leave it to the professionals like Aerotech and CTI, that know what they are doing.

why not try 60/30/10 AP/sugar/cornsyrup.... then cast it and see if that works,and kitty litter works good for the nozzle,...try it

Awesome noise, great description and overall nice video! You have inspired me to start experimenting with APCP if I can get hold of Ammonium Perchlorate. I'd give 5 stars but there's only some stupid thumb now. Thumbs up anyway

Not bad, not bad. I have been working on rocket motors since I was 13 and still havent managed to get an APCP motor to work in PVC, they have always blown up. I used to work with an Aerotech 54mm casing and that was going well til I had a casing failure on a sparky motor. I'm gonna have to try your formulas one weekend and give it a shot.
