Ya'll do realize the dog is excavating scent/lubricating glands that are impacted with feces. That is why it stinks so bad when they are successful at it and they usually leave a brown stripe/skidmark on the rug... Most grooming shops know how to squeeze the area around the rectum to keep it from being impacted. just saying...
