@hurling2010 Hey there. Tried it for the 5,687th time and my PS3 recognized the existence of the connected monitor. The monitor just sat there like a prosthetic leg, falling asleep. It's another inch closer....just gonna keep banging my head against the brick wall. Good luck.

I've got a problem here...I have a HDMI-VGA cable linking my PS3 to a HP 2009v monitor. I link 'em up, turn 'em on, and just get 'Check Video Cable' on the screen. Any help would be massively appreciated.
